Hi, my name is Zachary Ruth and I am a Freshman and a Pre-Chiropractic Exercise Science major. There is a lot that most people don't know about me, typically because I unconsciously tend to "keep my cards close to my chest", but here are a few things about me:
Firstly, I love making stained glass. I learned how to make stained-glass back in high school and fell in love with it. Once I graduated, I thought there was no chance that I'd ever be able to do it again until I made good money to buy glass, but then I saw everything that I needed in a Hobby Lobby and brought my hope back. I now make small stained-glass pieces in my garage whenever I have some free time when I'm at home.
Secondly, I like to occasionally do Tarot readings. Now I know that Tarot can't actually divine the future, though I do find it an interesting tool for self-reflection. If anyone is truly interested in getting a reading, I'd be happy to help.
Lastly, my favorite thing in the world is climbing and exploring mountains and forests. I am fortunate enough to have access to mountain that is owned by my family. Whenever I'm up there and the weather is good, I'll grab a machete and a water bottle and hike to the peak and just wander. I'm always on the hunt for a stretch of forest I haven't seen or looking for a good vista, which I have yet to find. I especially love taking pictures if I find a good shot when I'm up there.
