There is No Place Like Fourth Taco (Final Draft)

 

    Do you ever crave taco's? If so Fourth Taco is the place to go. When you walk into the small but cozy restaurant, in the middle of Bloomsburg, you're welcomed with warm smiles and a "How can we help you?" from the staff. After choosing what you want to eat and ordering at the bar, you go sit at a high top, booth, or by the windows facing the main street in Bloomsburg. The lighting in the restaurant is cream chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Taking in the scenery of the colorful walls and the upbeat sound of music, the friendly wait staff comes by with your tacos. Looking like they just took them out of a Mexican foods magazine and tasting like home made street tacos, you indulge in the savory, flavorful birria tacos you feel right like you're in the heart of Mexico. If you don't know what to order ask on of the staff member what they suggest or look at the colorful chalkboard with all the special menu items. 

    This business came to life back in 2021 when the first opened there food truck at the Bloomsburg Fair where they wanted to start selling street tacos. After that year the owner Tanner and his one brother talked about opening a restaurant because how popular there food truck was at the fair that year. Tanner one of the managers said, " I was inspired my one of my brother who always talked about opening a food truck and restaurant because we both loved to cook." and that's when Fourth taco came to life. If you ever wonder how the came up with the name Fourth Taco I'll tell you. Tanner and his one brother came up with the from a you tube series called Video Game High school and the principal was eating tacos in front of one of the a child who hasn't eaten in three days cause his scholarship money ran out and he said " There's nothing better than the Fourth Taco you feel me". After they heard that line from the series they came together and named it Fourth Taco.     

    The food at Fourth Taco has authentic Mexican flavor. If you are ever wanting to try something new ask your waiter for their favorite menu items. One of the waitresses said, “ I recommend the Birria

Birria Taco's

Tacos they are a shredded brisket marinaded in a savory consume with onions cilantro folded into a corn tortilla with mozzarella  cheese with a side of consume to dip into.” These are my personal favorite they are the most popular item in this restaurant. The atmosphere into restaurant is a cozy environment and full of amazing staff. The staff likes to talk to the customers engaging in a conversation to make the restaurant feel like you’re at home. A customer wearing a floral sundress asked a staff member why they like working there the staff member said, “ I like working at Fourth Taco because all the other staff members are like family member to me well all work to getting and it make me feel safe and at home.” After the staff member answered the question the costumer smiled and thanked her for telling her that story and it makes the customer feel safe in the environment.  

    One day, on a summer day a customer  wearing a black shirt and blue jeans came in to the restaurant and ordered tacos and found a seat at a table. Once the waitress brought him his food. She went back to take another customers ordered who was waiting patiently at the counter. After she took the costumers order she went back to check and see if the guy needed anything she then realized that he threw away his tacos. The waitress kindly  said, " was there a problem with your tacos."  With an angry look, The guy replied with, " These tacos are absolutely disgusting they are too greasy to even enjoy and I'm just going to have to leave a bad review on Facebook every time I come in". Sometime Fourth Taco has some rude customer but they for get about it and move on with there day. 

    Fourth Taco isn’t like any other restaurant  they have new Menu items each week and has special events that happen on special occasions. For example, on Valentines day they had a band and a dinner specially made for Valentines day complete with a three course meal including dessert. To get a table at Fourth Taco on Valentines day you should call and make a reservation to ensure that they would make and prepare enough food for everyone that is taking their date to Fourth Taco. Unlike any other restaurant, Fourth Taco they "Try harder then any other restaurant" according to Tanner. He also states that his restaurant is always "exciting and new" due to the fact that they have new menu items each week. They always make sure to have fresh produce and new ingredients for their menu items. 

    Fourth taco has been a great restaurant on main street, Bloomsburg. The impact Tanner and his team make on not only the college community but the town of Bloomsburg. He makes sure to always keep the customers in the know of the new menu items and what they consist of. He makes sure that his staff is friendly and inviting because, who wouldn't want to go into a restaurant and not have a friendly wait staff. I would recommend Fourth Taco to anyone who asked me "I'm new in town, where's the best place to eat?" just for the fact that the whole restaurant has a nice cozy and home town vibe to it. In my opinion, Fourth Taco is the best restaurant on main street Bloomsburg, Tanner has done a great job with keeping his restaurant up to date and in the know of what new things people might want to try in Bloomsburg.
