Hey everyone, my name is Frankie Thatcher and I am a sophomore at Bloomsburg University. I am a criminal justice major and I plan on being a state trooper after my four years here. One fact about me is that I love being outdoors and fishing. I've been doing it ever since I was little with my grandfather and I have just always loved the peace and calm of being in the middle of nowhere.
Another fact is that I played baseball in high school and my team won the league championship, which was cool because I had been playing with all the kids on my team my whole life and we finally achieved what we had all wanted to do. It was also the first league championship for our baseball program in around 20 years.
My third interesting fact all though it's not about me is that I have an Akita named Misha. A cool fact about Akita's is that they were used very much during World War 2 as service dogs, and also used to hunt many animals like panda in the forests.

Hi Franke! I am also a criminal justice major here at bloom! One thing that I didn't know that you posted about was that Akita's was that they were used as service animals, my gram has had an Akita for years and I didn't know that. That's an interesting fact that I will for sure be telling my gram!
ReplyDeleteHi Frankie! I am also a criminal justice major in hopes of becoming a crime scene investigator some day. I know that you talked about winning the league championship for baseball which is so great! I actually also did cheer all my life and ended up winning 2 district titles with my cheer team.
ReplyDeleteWhat's up Frankie! We have something in common. I'm a big outdoors guy too, there's nothing like the feeling of hooking into a big one. It's always a good time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Frankie. I don't know that I've ever known anyone who's had an Akita. Great pictures of Misha. I have a small terrier mix named Finn who you might see around the quad sometimes.
