Who Am I? Molly Earnest

 Hello, my name is Molly Earnest. I am currently a freshman and my major is undeclared. I am leaning towards radiology or even maybe a NICU nurse.

My best friend is my cat Moose, who I actually have here on campus with me. He is the biggest snuggle bug and definitely is not your typical crazy orange cat. He is an angel who just lays around with me all day. He loves his cuddles and I even have a cat stroller to take him around on walks.

A crazy fact about me is, I have a twin sister. She is the older sister by about two minutes. Due to us being twins, we were born premature and I was born with a heart murmur. An even crazier fact is that we have a set of younger twin brothers as well on my moms side and a set of older twin sisters on my dads side.

I am currently on the club field hockey team. I've played field hockey since I was in 7th grade. It's the first sport I picked up and I never want to stop playing. I am usually center midfield or center forward. I would love to try out for the actual team, but I am worried my work schedule and school work would conflict too much. 

Who Am I? Alyssa Pandolfini

 

Hi everyone! My name is Alyssa Pandolfini, and I am a freshman here at Bloomsburg. I am currently a medical imaging major, but am planning on switching to something I am more interested in next semester.

I am from Manalapan, New Jersey, which is about three hours away. Moving to a new state and starting college without knowing anyone was definitely scary at first, but since August I have made many genuine friendships and feel fully adjusted now.

When I'm not in class, I am usually shopping, talking to my family and friends back home, or hanging out with my sorority sisters. I'm the middle child and have two sisters, along with a shih tzu named Benny who is my best friend. When I'm home, I spend most of my time at the Jersey Shore, where I love boating, jet skiing, and tanning during the summer.

Hi! My name is Savannah Eustice and I am currently a freshman studying early childhood education. 

This is my second semester at Bloomsburg, and so far I really enjoy it! I am from Mountain Top, PA where there is not much to do. I am involved in Greek life and have an on campus job. I like to read and write as well, so I am excited for this course.

 Outside of school I like to bake, go on hikes, and listen to music. I am the oldest of three girls and I love being the oldest sibling. My family likes being outside a lot so some of my earliest memories are fishing and walking along the river. I love traveling, my favorite places I've been is Yellowstone National park and Oregon!

Hiya! I'm Arbre Salem, and I'm a Junior studying Political Science with a minor in International Law here at Bloomsburg. I am from Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, where I have been based most of my life. 

 The first surprising fact about me is that I have a twin sister, Ava, who is also studying environmental science here. While we are twin sisters, we rarely look alike, only in the right lighting. 

The next surprising fact about me is that last semester, I had the opportunity to study abroad in England for a whole year with Ava! This gave me the chance to travel to many countries easily, including Ireland, Germany, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Switzerland, and my favorite by far, Egypt. By doing a foreign exchange through Bloomsburg, I essentially lived in England for less than it would have been to live in a dorm on campus! 

My final surprising fact is that I plan on graduating with my Bachelor's and immediately moving back abroad! I loved seeing many diverse countries, peoples, languages, and ideas. Currently, my plan is to join the Peace Corps in Morocco, help children in need, strengthen my Arabic, and after I am hoping to continue my education for my master's in Berlin!

Who am I? - Nash Bostdorf

Hello! My name is Nash Bostdorf, and I am a freshman at Bloomsburg University studying exercise science. One fact about me is that I am a very active person, and I enjoy skiing, golfing, and traveling with my family. This summer, I hope to work more on my surfing, as this is one of my newer hobbies, which I enjoy when at the beach. 

Another fact about me is that I will be playing for the Bloomsburg golf team next fall. I have been playing competitively for 5 years, 4 of those being on my high school team, which was a lot of fun. My lowest score is currently -1 under par, and I know I'll soon break it once the weather warms back up again. A weird fact about me is that I know how to ride a unicycle. I can't ride and juggle at the same time, but one day I might achieve both.

    Welcome to my “Who AM I?” blog. My name is Natalie Cooper. Since it’s a blog about me, let me tell you a little about myself. 

    I’m the oldest of four, so you can assume I helped raise my younger siblings. I am also their own personal Uber driver. I am sure most of you, oldest children, can relate to this. I have a dog named Bella, whom I constantly have to save from my younger siblings. My siblings just suffocate her with all their love. In my free time, which these days is hard to find, I like to read murder mystery novels and watch murder documentaries with my mom. Some people believe that having an interest in murder stories is weird, but I promise you that I just find the psychology behind murders interesting. 

    Anyway, I am a freshman in my second semester. My major is biomedical laboratory science. Before you ask, no, I’m not sure what career I want to pursue. I chose this major because it involves subjects I love and offers many career options. This major takes a lot of hard work, time, and dedication. Almost all the classes required to graduate with this major include a lab section, which takes up lots of time. I know what you are thinking, “of course, there are a lot of labs, it's literally in the name of the major.” I know this, but it still doesn’t mean it isn’t a lot of work and a struggle.

I also work at Geisinger in Danville, P.A. as an intern pharmacy technician. This is a great position because I get to choose the days that I work. My favorite shift is the oral solution batcher. I get to batch oral    solutions in syringes for emergency use. I also get to compound oral solutions. I also work at a local dance studio in Selinsgrove, P.A. I teach all different kinds of dance styles to kids of all ages. Thanks for reading all about me.  

    

Who Am I? - Gehrig Thurston

 

        Hi, my name is Gehrig Thurston, and I am from Sayre, PA. I am a Freshman here at Bloomsburg University, and I am majoring in Early Childhood Education. I graduated from Athens Area High School, which is just a little south of the border of New York State.

I played two sports in High School, both of which were Cross Country and Track & Field. I did Cross Country in the 7th grade, and picked it back up from my Sophomore year to my Senior year. I also did Track for my Junior and Senior years. Although I occasionally try to go to the gym every now and then, I will still run from time to time at The Rec.

Some interesting facts about me are that I have been to 10 concerts, and I did Taekwondo when I was in elementary and middle school, and stopped during Covid. I also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts.

Who Am I? - Jackson Springman

 Hello! I'm Jackson Springman and I'm a freshman here at Bloomsburg and I'm majoring in Criminal Justice. The first fun fact that catches most people off guard is that I broke my jaw playing baseball back when I was 11 years old and I had to have my jaw wired shut for six weeks!

Another fun fact about me is that I had over 100 hours of community service done through my local FFA Chapter, FFA stands for Future Farmers of America, and also served as the treasurer my senior year!
My third and final fun fact is that I like to golf!

Who Am I Blog

 

Hey everyone, my name is Frankie Thatcher and I am a sophomore at Bloomsburg University. I am a criminal justice major and I plan on being a state trooper after my four years here. One fact about me is that I love being outdoors and fishing. I've been doing it ever since I was little with my grandfather and I have just always loved the peace and calm of being in the middle of nowhere. 

Another fact is that I played baseball in high school and my team won the league championship, which was cool because I had been playing with all the kids on my team my whole life and we finally achieved what we had all wanted to do. It was also the first league championship for our baseball program in around 20 years. 

My third interesting fact all though it's not about me is that I have an Akita named Misha. A cool fact about Akita's is that they were used very much during World War 2 as service dogs, and also used to hunt many animals like panda in the forests.  

Who am I? Lexi Sprague

 Hi! My name is Alexis Sprague but everyone calls me Lexi. This is my second semester here at Bloomsburg. I graduated from Pleasant Valley High School which is located near the Poconos. I am a Criminal Justice major in hopes of being a crime scene investigator some day. Crime has always been a interest of after seeing some of my family members working in the field.

I played sports all my life. My mom put me into competitive cheerleading when I was only three year sold and I did that till I was 14. Then I decided to do cheerleading for my high school instead and put competitive cheerleading in my passed. I also played softball and track and field while in high school. I decided not to continue sports once I got to college and decided to go out of my comfort zone and join a sorority in hopes of meeting new people and find life long friendships here at Bloomsburg. 

Some interesting facts about me is that I love to travel and I have been to about thirty new places around the world. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends on my free time. My older sister also went to Bloomsburg and studied early childhood education and is now a kindergarten teacher! I love music and going to concerts as well. I am looking forward to see how I grow as a individual throughout this new chapter in my life!    

Who am I? -Morgan Traver

Hello! My name is Morgan Traver, and I am a freshman in college. I love to help people out as much as I can in any way possible which led me to pick nursing as my major. I am also minoring in dance!

Some interesting things about me is that I've been dancing since I was 4 years old and competitively since I was 10. I also did cheer in high school but quickly found that dance was my passion. I still do dance by being a part of the dance ensemble here at the university, and hopefully the dance team next year. Another fun fact is that I had fire engine red hair as a baby! I also have a tattoo on my spine and plan to get more in the future.

    Hi, my name is David Hubler. I'm a sophomore criminal justice major from Scranton, Pennsylvania. I don't have many pictures of just me so here's me(left) and my friend John(right). In my free time I like to read, spend time with friends, and watch and debate sports. I'm a New England Patriots fan and a New York Yankees fan. Here on campus, me and some friends run a radio show, talking and debating all things College Football and NFL.

Hello! My name is Max McCloskey, and I am from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. I am freshman here at Bloomsburg University studying Finance. 

 A Fun fact about me is that I am on the Bloomsburg swim team. I've been swimming competitively since I was 7 years old.  I swim all the strokes, but my best strokes are mainly freestyle and butterfly.  And I am thinking about becoming a swim coach as a job in the summer. 

The last fact about me I am a huge sports fan and a diehard Philly sport fan. I am always following sports news every day, but I mostly follow the NBA and the NFL the most. 

Danica Chrislip - Who am I blog

 Hi! My name is Danica Chrislip, I am a freshman here at Bloomsburg dual majoring in Criminal Justice and Environmental Science. After college I plan to go to the police academy and become a Natural Resources Police Officer. At Bloomsburg so far I have joined the Aging Special Interest Club and hope to join more clubs and make more friends in the coming years. 

Some surprising things about me is that I am from Delaware. When i'm home I love to hang out with friends, go to the beach, go out for drives to watch sunsets and go hiking. Before covid I did taekwondo for 4 years and almost got my black belt but after I quit due to covid, I focused more on school, which helped me to friendships that I will have forever and achieve so much more in life. Lastly, I love reality TV and any kind of show that revolves around law enforcement like 911 or the rookie. 

Who Am I?- Ali Green

 

Hi! My name is Ali Green and I am from Carroll County, Maryland, where I have lived my entire life. I am a sophomore Marketing Major with a minor in Emergent media.

    One of the biggest parts of my life before coming to Bloomsburg was Volleyball. I started playing my freshman year of high school right when COVID hit, and ever since it has been my favorite sport. Although I don't play as often as I did back then, I now play intramural volleyball with some friends at the rec. 

    My Dream Job is graphic design. In high school, I studied print production at the Carroll County Career and Technology Center, where I was certified in graphic communications. Since graduating, I have made banners and apparel for organizations.

    Music is a big part of my day to day routine. My Spotify wrapped is usually around 200,000 minutes (just under 140 days) of music listened to over the year. I am a big fan of indie rock, specifically bands like Peach Pit, The Backseat Lovers, and Edgehill. My favorite artist of all time, however, is Lizzy McAlpine. I was in the top 0.001% of global Lizzy McAlpine listeners last year on Spotify. 

Who Am I? Jacob Shaw

Hello! My name is Jacob Shaw, I am from Philipsburg, PA,  and this is a little bit about me! So first of all, I am a big time sports fan. For example, I love watching the NFL, MLB, UFC, etc. I find it to be more entertaining than most things, and it's so fun to have a team or someone to root for. Another thing about me is that I love the outdoors. Whether it's going out to camp somewhere, going fishing and hunting, or even taking the four-wheeler out. It could be anything along the lines of outdoor activities. The last thing about me is I like video games. Games like Call of Duty or Skate 3 are a couple ones that I've always played over time.

Who Am I? Grace Shenk

 

Hi! My name is Grace Shenk, I am a freshman from Pen Argyl, a small town in the Lehigh Valley, and this is my second semester at Bloomsburg! I am a criminal justice major with a minor in legal studies. I have 3 dogs at home who I love so much even though I am allergic to them, and every other animal that has fur. 

I love to read, listen to music, and dressing up. I love the beach and I love the ocean. I don't have a job on campus but during the summer I have been a lifeguard at my local public pool for 2 years.

Something surprising about me is that I was a competitive cheerleader for 10 years. Once I got to high school I quit and it was the best decision I ever made, I joined the field hockey team my sophomore year, and even though I was horrible at the sports itself, I got much more involved in my school, joined clubs, and made lifelong friendships that I would not have made otherwise.

 Hey, my names Cora, I grew up in the middle of nowhere so I love hunting and fishing. I have a very strong faith in God and what he does for me. I’m an early education major and hope to one day visit all 50 states.

Who am I? -Caleb Williamson

Hello! My name is Caleb Williamson and I am a sophomore here at Bloomsburg University studying Secondary education concentrated in General Science. The first and most surprising fact about me is that I am actually a transfer student. I originally attended a small Christian school called Grove City College outside of Pittsburgh. I went there specifically to play football but unfortunately the school and student body was not a good fit for me so I came here.

The next fact about me is that both of my parents attended Bloomsburg University and were both education majors as well, so I am a legacy student and chose to pursue education because of my parents and the work I've been able to watch them do up close. I also aspire to coach youth sports which will mesh well with the teaching profession.

The last fact about me isn't as deep as the last two but I do play the guitar. I think some may find it surprising as I don't think I fit the stereotype but I love music and have been playing since I was in fifth grade.

Who am I?- Olivia Bortolan

     

   

     Hi!! My name is Olivia Bortolan, but I also go by my favorite nickname, Via. I'm a freshman here at Bloom and I'm currently undecided but am considering majoring in special education. I find that I am someone who is very easy to please, and I always find joy in the simplest of things. I love making friends, painting, going to the gym, driving, music and hiking.

A few things that might seem surprising about me are my love for theatre and singing. I feel as though I come off as shy to some, and me being on stage might be unexpected. I randomly auditioned for the school musical my senior year and got the lead role, Cinderella! Another thing might be is that I have two jobs, which is a little crazy during school, but I currently don't have a car and one of my long-term goals is to buy my own soon. Lastly, one more thing that might be surprising (or really just silly) is that I love yogurt bowls and I have a folder in my phone dedicated to just pictures of my yogurt bowls lol.  Hello everyone, my name is Ethan and I am a sophomore finance major from Hazleton, Pennsylvania. I'm a big sports fan and a supporter of all the Pittsburgh sports teams. Growing up I played soccer and hockey, but nowadays my main sport is golf. I am also a big music person. My favorite band is Treaty Oak Revival and my favorite solo artist is Zach Bryan. 

Ashlie Boyles - Who am I?

 Hello, my name is Ashlie Boyles. I am a sophomore Criminal Justice major from State College, PA. A few fun facts about me are that I am a Military Police Officer in the National Guard. Last year, I returned home from my first year long deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. During my time there, outside of work, I spent a lot of time boating and fishing. When I came home my parents got me a Chocolate Lab puppy, which I named Winston. He is currently 11 months old, but his first birthday is in 2 weeks! I have always been someone who does a lot of writing in my free time, so I am excited for this semester to improve my work.
